How to Schedule Your First Visit
Scheduling your first appointment is easy. Simply call Alexandria Smile Center, and our team will help you find a convenient appointment time. We’re happy to answer questions about insurance, payment options, or what to expect before your visit.
To help save time at your appointment, new patient forms are available online and can be completed in advance if you choose. If you prefer, you are also welcome to complete them in the office when you arrive.

You can typically expect your first visit to take about an hour. During your appointment, we’ll take time to get to know you, review your health history, and discuss any concerns or goals you may have for your dental health.
A typical first visit may include:
• A review of your medical and dental history
• Digital X-rays, if needed
• A comprehensive exam by the doctor and hygiene team
• Evaluation of your teeth, gums, bite, and jaw health
• A professional cleaning if appropriate for your periodontal health
Our goal is to help you feel comfortable, informed, and confident about your care from the very beginning.
If available, please bring:
• Your dental insurance card
• A photo ID
• A list of current medications
• Any recent dental X-rays or records, if applicable
To help save time, new patient forms are available online and may be completed before your visit if you choose. Prefer to complete paperwork in the office? No problem — our team will be happy to help when you arrive.
We are happy to work with most dental insurance plans and will gladly file claims on your behalf. Our team can help estimate benefits and explain coverage prior to treatment whenever possible.
Alexandria Smile Center is in-network with select insurance providers, and we also accept many out-of-network plans. If you have questions about your coverage, please call our office — we’re happy to help.
We also offer flexible payment options and an in-office Membership Plan for patients without insurance.
Most patients benefit from routine hygiene visits every six months. Some patients with periodontal concerns may benefit from more frequent maintenance visits to help keep their gums healthy. Your doctor and hygiene team will recommend the schedule that best fits your needs.
